Way 1. (Fast and easy). Through the National Road "Athens - Lamia or Thessaloniki" up to port of Arkitsa.
On the National road you pass the sign of 'Halkida' (at your right hand, almost 75 Km from Athens) and continue to drive until you see the sign of Arkitsa port (151 Km from Athens). Telephone of Arkitsa's Port Authority is 22330-91290 (calling from Greece).
You have to buy the tickets for the car and the passengers before you ascending the ferry. The ticket for a typical hatchback car to pass it from Arkitsa to Edipsos is about 12 Euro. The tickets for passengers are cheap enough.
From Arkitsa to Edipsos by ferryboat (7 nautical miles - 40 min.) which leaves you inside the port of Edipsos inside the town.
Exiting the port of Edipsos you follow the right direction and drive your car to the Town Hall of Edipsos (no more than 5 minutes driving), after 200 meters is Capri hotel. When you'll be at the Town Hall you can see Capri hotel.
Total driving time is about 1 hour and 15 minutes + 40 minutes for the ferry.
120 Km per hour is the maximum speed limit for the National Road in Greece.      Print the directions...

Way 2. (Beautiful landscapes, mountains, sea view + more driving).
Through Halkida's bridge (Halkida is the capital city of Evia island).
From Athens and after two Toll stops on the National road "Athens - Lamia" you have to turn right and follow the big signs that directing you to the city of "Halkida".

> Halkida - "Χαλκίδα", driving inside the city, follow the signs directing you to to North Evia (Βόρεια Εύβοια) or Istiaia or L. Edipsou. Only 10 minutes from Halkida is N. Artaki

> N. Artaki - "Ν. Αρτάκη", you pass inside the village, here you can stop for a coffee and cheese pie.

> Psahna - "Ψαχνά", not inside the village, during the way you follow the sign to Istiaia or L. Edipsou.

> Prokopi - "Προκόπι", it's in your way 48 Km away from the city of Halkida. Here you can stop and visit the famous Greek church of "Agios Ioannis o Rossos" (St. John the Russian).

> Mantoudi - "Μαντούδι", not inside the village. It's 9 Km away from Prokopi.
NOTICE… Here be careful: near Strofilia there are two options one to the left which directs you to the Edipsos through the new road (shorter distance) and the second option (straight ahead) which directs you first to "Istiaia" and after to Edipsos through the villages of "Agia Anna" - "Papades" - "Ellinika" - "Vassilika" - "Pefki" - "Istiaia" - Edipsos. The distance is bigger because is the road is older.

Option 1 (turn at your left hand direction) continues…:

> Strofilia - "Στροφυλιά", not inside the village. It's 8 Km after Mantoudi.

> Limni - "Λίμνη", not inside the village, but is very nice place to stop for a coffee of food at the central square. Beautiful spot, it has the look of a typical greek village in an Aegean island. It's about 20 Km after Strofilia.

> Robies - "Ροβιές", not inside the village (in half hour you'll be in Edipsos). It's 9 Km after Limni.

> Ilia - " Ήλια", not inside the village. 11 Km after Rovies. The distance between Ilia and Edipsos is about 7 Km.

> Edipsos - "Λουτρά Αιδηψού", the final target, at the entrance of the city you'll see Capri's label and you have to follow the right ascending road option. In 100 meters you'll be passing in front of Capri hotel.
Total driving time about 3.0 - 3.5 hours counting from the center of Athens.      Print the directions...
